Back in the early days, London's late great Grindhouse King and Vagrancy Co-Creator Cliff McIntyre ( aka THE EASTMAN) envisioned a way for people to share common interests without hassles or complexity. A network for sleaze lords and vinegar thieves to make new friends and reconnect with old ones. His vision .. THE VHS TAPE SWAP. Eastman started bringing bags of lost top loader treasures to screenings, handing them out to people he didn't know, telling 'em to watch and learn what exploitation and horror truly meant to a fan of the genre, and then he told them to bring their own tape next time and give it to someone to spread the madness...

Show after show, people started piling up the clamshells and before and after the feature they'd start to converse and share and it really brought the crowd together as a family of freaks. Personally I've made a few great friends over an old Paragon or Wizard video classic.

At SHOCK STOCK we bring that feeling back and encourage both patrons and vendors alike to bring in some old VHS tapes to trade and give to total strangers, in hopes that they don't stay strangers for long. After all, we're all cut from the same dirty cloth.

Trade em, give em, watch em....

Based on last years' success we hope the TAPE SWAP continues to grow. Tons of collectors and vendors will be peddling tapes.

THIS YEAR, WE WANT RELENTLESS SHOCKS. MAKE US SICK!

ALSO, SHORT SHOCK HAS NOW BEEN MADE INTO A NON-COMPETITIVE SHOWCASE, MADE TO HIGHLIGHT THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF MANY, RATHER THAN SINGLE OUT THE FEW.

Official SHOCK STOCK on-site events will take place in our WORLD FAMOUS INTERNATIONAL CINEMA room.

The room features digital and 16mm projection capabilities as well as space for all Q&A and panel discussions.

The Official SHOCK STOCK Gala Screeningwill take place at the RAINBOW CINEMAS located in the CITI PLAZA just minutes from CENTENNIAL HALL.

Gala screening requires a VAGRANT DELUXE PASS . Please check back for updates.
